How can you not love an article that begins, “Acupuncture for a limping elephant? Herbal tea for a constipated orangutan? The Singapore Zoo has tried it all, and it works.” The Singapore zoo uses Western medicine but has also been treating their animals with acupuncture and herbs. The Zoo has used acupuncture for the last 10 years on 200 animals. Some of the animals that have benefited from Chinese Medicine include giraffes, elephants, horses, pythons and sea lions. To read some of the remarkable results, check out this article.
